"Corridors for common prosperity" is the title of the European Road Conference, which will take place on October 20-22 in Dubrovnik (Croatia). Registration for the event is still open!
The conference is a joint undertaking of the European Union Road Federation ERF, the American Transportation Research Board TRB, Hrvatske Ceste - the Croatian state road administration and the Croatian Road Association.
Southeastern Europe is located at an important intersection of transport routes between East and West. Due to its privileged geographical location, Croatia is at the forefront of efforts to make use of this asset, thanks to regional cooperation initiatives such as the Adriatic-Ionian highway corridor.
The programme will feature around 100 prominent speakers from Europe and beyond, and it will cover a broad range of topics related to road safety, road financing, automation and ITS. The sessions will give participants an insight to the opportunities that the region has to offer and as well as the challenges that the road infrastructure sector faces towards meeting the needs of the mobility of the future.
