The International Conference "Silesian Road Industry Forum" is an annual conference organized jointly by the Polish Road Congress and the Provincial Road Administration in Katowice. The Silesian Forum is the most important cyclical conference in Poland devoted to international exchange of information on the latest technologies of construction, renovation, maintenance and road equipment. Its characteristic feature is the participation of researchers, experts and road construction practitioners from Poland and countries in the German language area.
The subject matter of the conference differs every year, but the session devoted to asphalt surfaces always appears in the program. In 2019, the main subject will focus on ways to reduce traffic noise, improve the durability of roads with asphalt surfaces, and improve traffic safety, including the safety of motorcyclists.
Approx. 200 people take part in the conferences - representatives of road administration, local government administration, designers, general contractors, producers and suppliers of materials, equipment and solutions for road engineering. The conference languages are Polish and German, with simultaneous interpretation provided.
The conference will take place at the "Park Inn by Radisson" hotel in Katowice, ul. Bytkowska 1A. If you are interested in registering your participation, please use the registration form on the conference website (in Polish) or write directly to the organizer: email@example.com
