6TH Silesian Road Forum, Katowice

Took place

The Polish Road Congress and the Regional Roads Authority in Katowice have the pleasure to invite to the 6th International Conference of "Silesian Road Industry Forum", which will take place in the city of Katowice, on April 24-26. The venue of the congress is the "Park Inn by Radisson" hotel at Bytkowska street 1A.

The Silesian Road Industry Forum, organized since 2013, is the most important annual conference in Poland dedicated to international exchange of information on the latest technologies of roads construction, renovation, maintenance and equipment. The speakers include prominent academics from universities and research institutes as well as from road sector companies from Poland, Germany and Austria. The languages of the Congress are Polish and German, with simultaneous translated provided.

The themes of this year's conference will focus on the key challenges for road administration: improving road management through the dissemination of Road Asset Management methods, improving the durability of roads with asphalt and concrete surfaces, as well as improving traffic safety. For the first time, the safety of motorcyclists will be the subject of a special session.
